Guns more than gangs are fueling violence in Seattle, police say
As someone who deeply loves Seattle, I feel like I had to touch upon the recent acts of violence somehow on this blog. The number of shootings that have occurred over the last week are deeply upsetting to me. I can’t recall another period in time, in my lifetime, where shootings were this rampant in the city. I know that everyone who follows this blog cares about Seattle as much as I do, and that you all are probably equally distraught over the recent violence. My heart goes out to the victims and their loved ones, and I hope that all of this chaos will be over soon.
